Alicia Keys Promotes The Power Of Music At iHeartRadio Music Festival

Alicia Keys spread the word of love and hope through her music while she took the stage for day one of the 10th Annual iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The performances for the music festival took place on the stage in Los Angeles and Nashville. It happened in front of virtual audience due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Alicia started off by saying, “2020 has been something, and nothing is the same, is it? But you know what I call it? I call it The Great Transformation. One thing that’s true, you can never stop the music. We need it now more than ever.”

The singer performed beautiful songs like Love Looks Better and So Done off of her newly-released self-titled album, Alicia. The Grammy-winner was sitting by her piano as blue light was radiating on her. She was wearing a chic skintight black ensemble with a jeweled cutout over the shoulder.

Alicia braided her hair, pulling all of it back from her face and tied into jewels. Before starting her performance with Love Looks Better, she said this is the song for the post-coronavirus world. She explains the song talks about how busy we’ve all been and how everything has been consumed by us.

The singer added, “But then you realize, ‘Wait a minute, the people I love the most, the people I want to spend the most time with … maybe I’ve been spending all my time in all these other places, and actually, my love looks better on you.'”

The artist had performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival for the first time back in 2011. She looked back at the time and said, “I was here for the very first iHeart Festival, and I’m here right now better than ever,” she said from the LA stage.

“I Feel Connected To You More Than I Ever Have Before!!”- Alicia

The two-day festival also includes artists like Migos, Miley Cyrus, BTS, Coldplay, Usher, Keith Urban, Kane Brown. There will also be special guests Khalid Swae Lee, Bon Jovi, and Thomas Rhett, among others. The 10th Anniversary of the iHeartRadio Music Festival will be streaming on CWTV.com. On day two it will be on the CW app on September 19 and will be broadcast on The CW Network on September 27 and 28.

Alicia promoted the release of her new album by performing all the 15 songs of the album. She performed it via her YouTube/Facebook platforms on Friday.

She posted a picture of her performing on stage with her band. The Grammy winner wrote that she feels connected to her fans now, more than ever. She said even though she wanted to be performing in person, she is excited that they can celebrate the release of Alicia with a live performance.

The singer added, “I miss you so much but this will feel like we’re all together.” Alicia also took to Instagram to share her happiness of her album being number 1 in 18 countries.
