
Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2 to resume shooting soon
Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Sadak 2 will resume shooting in the first week of July as they are still left with one song!
For the ones who completed their shoot before lockdown were lucky enough. Since the month of April, the film industry has been completely shut with no shoots allowed. However now with unlock, there are certain relaxations to the entertainment industry. With certain permissions and conditions, people are allowed to resume shoots.
Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2 is one of those movies which was on the verge of completion before the lockdown. The team was left with just one song before the lockdown was imposed in the country.
Now in a conversation with Mid Day, filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt has confirmed that the team is going to resume the shoot soon. They will be shooting the remaining one song in the first week of July.
He told the daily, “We are planning to resume the shoot of Sadak 2 by the first week of July. We got the go-ahead [from Film City] yesterday. So, we are putting things in order and will soon [determine] the studio we can shoot in. We will have to build a small set for the song.”
For those who don’t know, Sadak 2 is an official remake of the 1991 film of the same title. It will pair Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles for the first time. The project also stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, who were the leads in the original film.
It was last year when the team shot for the film in scenic locations. Alia Bhatt’s Instagram was filled with such pictures from the shoot. She had even shared pictures of her father and sister on her gram giving us glimpses of their times on set.
