Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had recently announced that he will be flying to the UK with the team of Bell Bottom to resume the shoot!
The entertainment industry is slowly getting back on track with government giving some relaxations. People are resuming shoots getting back on sets. Actor Akshay Kumar too had recently announced that he will be flying to the UK to shoot for the film Bell Bottom with the team.
Now according to the latest reports, the actor will next shoot for the biopic of Prithviraj Chauhan. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Around 40 days of shoot still remains on the film. It should have been the first film to begin work on for Akshay, as the shoot was halted mid-way. But there were a lot of complications which resulted in a delay.”
The source added further that it’s a period film set on a massive scale with ample of action scenes. It will require a lot of people to be on the sets, which is not advisable looking at the current scenario. That’s why it was a mutual decision to shoot around November.
While the earlier plans were to shoot in Jaipur, the makers are now planning to move a lot of scenes to their in-house studio. “YRF is looking to resume the shoot of all their films on floors within their own premise, one after another. Prithviraj will be the last film to resume shooting from their entire slate of already announced releases,” said the source.
Talking about the release date, the team does not want to risk it since it is a big budget film. Hence they are still to zero-in on a release date. The main festive seasons of this year have already been blocked by films like Sooryavanshi and 83.
