Akshay Kumar To Hold An Acting Masterclass For Aspiring Actors

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recently revealed that he relies on inspiration from real life in order to decide and portray characters on screen.

This Thursday, Akshay took to his Instagram handle to officially announce that he will be hosting a live masterclass in acting for those budding individuals who want to become actors.

Why The Masterclass?

Akshay will hold the masterclass on the the SocialSwag app.

In line with that, the actor also posted a video in which he says that his acting journey was a tough process since he never got the chance to formally learn to act from others. This is one of the reasons why Akshay Kumar is willing to give back to the community.

What Did Akshay Kumar Say?

“I go my own way…this is my method. I take the inspiration of how to play a character from real life.”

“You all can be remembered lifetime even with a minute role… so through this session, I would like to share with you my learnings from my 30 years of experience in Indian cinema,” Akshay said in the clip.

Upcoming Projects

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently working on his next film titled Raksha Bandhan, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Nushrratt Bharuccha.

A few days ago, he had revealed that he had gained extra kilos fir his role in an upcoming movie.

“I enjoy the process of losing or gaining weight for a character because I can do it in a healthy way. I gained 5 kg in a completely natural way,” he said at the time.

“It also allowed me to indulge in an unusual meal of meri maa ke haath ka halwa. What a blessing,” Akki added.

Apart from Raksha Bandhan, the actor has movies like Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bell Bottom, Ram Setu and Bachchan Pandey lined up for release in the coming months.

2022 Commitments Of Akshay Kumar

Priyadarshan, the filmmaker, has disclosed that he will begin filming his comedy picture, starring Akshay Kumar, next year. From the popular Hera Pheri series to Garam Masala to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the actor-director duo has worked on a number of critically praised comedies in the 2000s.

Priyadarshan stated that he planned to start filming with Kumar this year, but the production was postponed because to the coronavirus outbreak.

“We were meant to begin filming it this year, but it was postponed. It’s a straight-up comedy, and we’re hoping to start filming early next year”
