Akshay Kumar Set To Return On The Sets Of Ram Setu In September

Actor Akshay Kumar will shoot for his upcoming film Ram Setu at the end of September.

The Bollywood actor is currently shooting for Rakshabandhan movie of Aanand L Rai, and the start of his next schedule is after the rainy season.

Will Shooting Be Done In Sri Lanka?

As the creators would like to shoot the film mostly in outdoor areas, they plan to do so at the end of a long monsoon season.

According to reports, the plan was to travel to Sri Lanka in order to complete the movie shoot. However, the island nation has a 15-day mandatory quarantine protocol in place.

Akshay Kumar wants to complete the project without any delay. It looks like the sets are used which can make up for for Sri Lanka.

Who Is Backing Ram Setu?

The actor will be playing the role of an archaeologist.

Amazon Prime Video is going to be production partner with Cape of good Films for the film.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and creatively produced by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is an action-adventure drama that brings forward a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage.

The film has a strong cast, led by stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharucha.
