Ajaz Khan Arrested By NCB Says ‘All They Found Was Few Sleeping Pills’
Ajaz Khan says the NCB got a few sleeping pills from his residence, and it was actually not even him but his wife who used them as she battled depression.
Actor Ajaz Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), has now claimed that all he had was a few sleeping pills. Ajaz also said his wife uses those.
The Background
Ajaz was arrested Wednesday, in connection with the Batata Gang drug case, following an investigation of at least eight hours, the PTI report said.

Ajaz told reporters after leaving court, “Nothing. Ask them where they got it from … they found four sleeping pills. My wife had a miscarriage and was depressed. She was taking those pills.”
Ajaz was remanded from custody of the NCB until April 3. Earlier, he was also taken to the medicine center for health checkups and blood tests before being taken for questioning before appearing in court.
According to the PTI report, the NCB chief executive officer told the media that Ajaz’s name came up during the investigation into Shadab Batata who was selling drugs. A team led by NCB regional director Sameer Wankhede also searched Andheri and Lokhandwala on Tuesday in connection with the case, the official said.
