After a month of Irrfan Khan’s demise, wife Sutapa Sikdar shares this emotional note

It was last month on May 29^th when the Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan had passed away in Mumbai.

It had come as a heartbreaking news for everyone when the actor Irrfan Khan had passed away last month. He had breathed his last on May 29^th in Kokilaben Hospital of Mumbai.

Now a month after his demise, his wife Sutapa Sikdar has shared an emotional note on social media. Sharing a couple of pictures of Irrfan, she wrote, “‘Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.’ It’s just a matter of time…milenge baaten karenge…. Till we meet again.”

She had earlier shared a note after the actor had passed away. “It’s difficult to explain what a wondrous, beautiful, overwhelming, painful and exciting this journey has been. I find this 2 and 1/2 years to have been an interlude, which had it’s own beginning, middle and culmination with Irrfan helming the role of the orchestra conductor, separate from the 35 years of our companionship, ours was not a marriage, it was a union,” she had written.

Irrfan Khan was battling with neuroendocrine tumour for the past two years. While he was getting his treatment abroad earlier, he had returned to the country a few months back.
