The highly-anticipated debut of Adele on Saturday Night Live has put fans in a frenzy. The singer has been studying the scripts for her debut. She took to her social media to post a picture on Instagram.
The singer hid her face with a mask as she was in Manhattan’s Rockefeller Plaza. She gave fans a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of her preparation for the show. The Grammy-winning artist announced her appearance on the comedy show on Instagram.
She wrote, “Bloooooody hellllll I’m so excited about this! And also absolutely terrified!” The singer seemed thrilled as it is her first-ever hosting gig and it is on SNL. Adele shared with her fans that she always wanted to do it as a stand-alone movement. She shared she wanted to “roll up her sleeves and fully throw” herself into it but couldn’t find the right time.
However, she added, “But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump headfirst into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?” Now the singer gave us a peek at her preparation as she is seen studying the scripts hard. She captioned the image writing, “3 days to go”.
Adele was on SNL as a musical guest for a sketch as Josh Brolin hosted the show. This time, the singer will be the host as H.E.R. will be the musical guest. However, this has raised speculation among fans who are questioning why Adele won’t be singing.
Fans were concerned after the announcement wondering why she will not perform. One fan tweeted, “Wait. Adele’s in SNL, but she’s not singing? What’s even the point of that?” Many other fans questioned the decision asking why will the singer not sing when she is on SNL.
Adele Tells Fans To Be Patient For New Music
Another fan tweeted writing, “Adele is hosting SNL next week and she’s Not singing?? Hmmm, not sure how I feel about that.” This will mark as the first time of Adele being on stage after her seven-stone loss. And fans will see her for the first time after the change.
The singer posted a throwback picture previously of her performing at Glastonbury Festival in England, 2016. She captioned the picture by simply putting up a smiling emoji.
A few hours later, Adele posted two photos of herself on Instagram. In the first image, she was crouching near her television while she watched herself perform. She wore a t-shirt and grey sweatpants while holding a portable fan pretending that it was a mic. In the second picture, she was seen wearing the same Chloe hand-embroidered dress that she wore at the Glastonbury music festival. She captioned the picture writing, “5 ciders in”.
Adele’s new album will not be coming anytime soon. She confirmed that her new music is not coming soon in one of her Instagram posts. Adele’s fourth album which is highly-anticipated by fans is going to be delayed because she is quarantining at this time.
One of her fans curiously asked if there is a new album coming out today on one of her posts. “Teaser? Albums coming out today???!!!!” the fan commented. “Tell me now!!!!” Responding to the fan, Adele requested for some patience and asked the fan to wear a mask. ‘Corona ain’t over,’ she said.
The fan commented on a throwback picture that Adele posted recently at Glastonbury. Her fans have been speculating for quite some time about her new music. Adele’s manager, Jonathan Dickens, recently revealed that there is no date for when the new music will hit the stores.
Her manager told Newsweek, ‘It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready.’ Fans were already assuming that the album’s release will be pushed to 2021 due to the global pandemic.
Adele’s manager went on to say that the world stopped and that everybody is on the same boat. He verifies that it will be out when it’s ready. Dickens admitted to having music but still working on it.
