Making a mark in the television and film industry is not a cakewalk. Every actor has their own share of struggles, rejections and failures who are not at all familiar with films. Very few people succeed and live by their dream and Tapasya Agnihotri is that fortunate name who started her career from scratch. She is from Kanpur and packed her bags for Mumbai in January 2019 with a dream of becoming an actress. Her rigorous hard work and passion for cinema were undying and she started knocking doors of many production houses for almost 2 or 3 months until she got her break with the web series ‘Beer Boys’ and Vodka Girls’ which streamed on Prime Flix.
Produced by Ankur Tiwari and singer Ankit Tiwari’s Brotherhood Entertainment, the web series was helmed by Rahul Gupta who is an emerging name among the most promising directors. Tapasya got immense popularity after the web series and she started getting several offers from the advertising world for ad shoots and print shoots. Being true to her craft, the actress never rejected an offer whether it was of a big or small budget. Agnihotri later bagged yet another role in PrimeFlix’s forthcoming web series titled ‘Pimp’ which is produced by Brotherhood Entertainment. The actress will be seen opposite Gaurav Bajaj who is a popular name on the small screen.
Besides this, she will also be seen in ‘Size Matters’, a web series which will be streaming on the OTT platform ULLU. Not just this, it is also believed that Tapasya will be seen in the second season of ‘Mirzapur’ and will turn an item girl for a South Indian movie. Agnihotri is also in talks to be featured in a music album which is still under the wraps. “It’s been more than a year and by the grace of almighty, I have got lots of works. I never thought that my dream would become a reality. Words would be less to express this feeling and I just want to express my gratitude towards everyone who supported me in my journey”, she said. With having no godfather, Tapasya Agnihotri has made her mark as an actress and we wish her loads of success for her upcoming projects.
