
Actor Irrfan Khan admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, kept in ICU
Amid the lockdown, Bollywod actor Irrfan Khan has been admitted to Kokilaben Hopital of Mumbai and has been kept in an ICU!
Actor Irrfan Khan has been facing health issues for a very long time now. Earlier, he was diagnosed with the neuroendocrine tumour, after which he has taken a break from the film industry. Now according to the reports he has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital of Mumbai.
A report in Navbharat Times states that the actor was in fact admitted to the hospital last week itself. Also, he has been kept in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Irrfan’s official spokesperson confirmed the news saying, “Yes it is true that Irrfan khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a colon infection. We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation. His strength and courage have helped him battle and fight so far. And we are sure with his tremendous willpower and prayers of all his well wishers, he will recover soon.”
It was earlier this week when the actor had lost his mother, Saeeda Begum. He could not even attend her funeral in Jaipur due owing to the nationwide lockdown. It was being said that he was not there in the country. However, the actor was in Mumbai and was unwell. He had spoken to his family over a video call.
