A BRIEF INSIDER ON IRAN & U.S.A

Iran vs America…

A few days ago, a new year arrived. Little did the citizens of the United States of America Iran and people all over the world know that a diplomatic crisis was brewing. A crisis that would plunge many into mourning in Iran and also serve justice to American citizens killed in Iran and other parts of the middle-east in attacks masterminded by top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

The Iran Vs America feud started a little over 24 hours ago when President Donald Trump sanctioned an overnight airstrike. One can regard this strike one of the most brazen moves into the middle-east since the incident with Iraq in 2003. It threw many into mourning the most notable death being that of top Iranian General; General Qassem Soleimani.

This strike has sparked questions all over social media and the mainstream media over the possibility of a third world war. Historically, international relations between the U.S.A. and Iran have mostly been on edge, but with these recent developments, tension is running high.

Possibility of Iran vs America War?

If an Iran Vs America war breaks out today, what effect would it have globally? That’s a question that one cannot answer without probability and permutations. However, one thing is sure and that is the effects would be nowhere good.

Iran vs America

Following threats of revenge by the supreme leader and security forces of Iran; the U.S government has advised citizens of the U.S. to exit the country as soon as possible via air. If that fails, land exits to neighboring countries are encouraged.

Tension is high, and opinions are flying around. Some believe the move that heralded in the Iran Vs America discussions and WWIII was a terrible one while others think it was commendable. Among such people is top U.S. republican Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham commended President Trump for making his decision. He stated that Soleimani had his hands stained with the blood of Americans.

In the case of a war we know the U.S.A.‘s first ally. The Israeli PM expressed his views on the ongoing Iran vs America discourse in a public statement issued by the official Twitter account of Israel’s foreign ministry. The Israeli PM Netanyahu has taken a stand with the U.S. saying; “Qassem Soleimani is responsible for the death of many American citizens and many other innocent people. He was planning more such attacks. Israel stands with the United States in its struggle for peace, security and self-defense.”

Sometime during the day; President Trump tweeted “Iran never won a war but never lost a negotiation!” Could this mean that this issue would be open for dialogue? It seems like it. The only way to find out is to stay abreast with the developments. If things deteriorate into complete chaos; people will choose sides, rash decisions taken.

For the sake of humanity, the lives lost in previous wars and the struggles of past world leaders and peacekeeping organizations in maintaining world peace, we can only hope it doesn’t get to that point.
