A biopic of Sourav Ganguly has been announced, will be produced by Luv Films
Sourav Ganguly, the legendary cricketer, announced on Twitter on Thursday that his life story is being made into a film by Luv Ranjan Films. “Cricket has been my life, it has given me confidence and the capacity to move forward with my head held high, a journey to be cherished,” Ganguly wrote on Twitter. I’m delighted that Luv Films will make a biopic about my life and deliver it to the big screen.”
While Ganguly’s announcement confirms that the film will be produced under the Luv Ranjan Films name, no director has been announced. The cast is yet to be announced.

“We are happy to announce that Luv Films will produce Dada Sourav Ganguly’s biopic,” the producers said in a statement. We are honoured to be given this duty, and we are looking forward to a fantastic innings.”
“Yes, I have consented to the biopic,” Ganguly earlier told News 18 Bangla. It will be in Hindi, but the director’s name cannot be revealed at this time. Everything will need some more time to be completed.”
Luv Ranjan has previously worked on films such as De De Pyaar De and Chhalaang. Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety are two of his directorial successes. Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor feature in the key roles of Ranjan’s upcoming.
