Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passes away at the age of 67 in Mumbai

After Irrfan Khan, the Bollywood industry has lost another gem today as the veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away!

It was just yesterday when we lost the actor Irrfan Khan. While the country has been mourning his loss, we have lost another gem today. Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away at the age of 67.

The actor breathed his last today on Thursday morning in Reliance HN Hospital in Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted saying, “He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

The news has also been confirmed by Randhir Kapoor, who had earlier talked about Rishi ji being hospitalized as he had said, “It’s true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some problem, so we admitted him early this morning.” When asked if the situation was critical, he had said, “That’s why he has gone to the hospital. But I know that he will be alright. Neetu (Kapoor) is by his side.”

For those who don’t know, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer back in the year 2018. He had gone to New York for his treatment and had returned to the country last year in September after recovery.
