Kanika Kapoor Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus In Trouble After A Complaint Filed Against Her For Negligence

Singer Kanika Kapoor is probably the first name from Bollywood who is tested positive for coronavirus. The novel pandemic is spreading across the world at a very fast pace. The Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow issued a complaint against the singer and accused her of “negligence” after which an FIR was filed against her. Kanika had made her presence for dinner in Lucknow which has alarmed several top politicians of the country.

Moreover, the FIR filed under sections 188, 269 and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) states that Kapoor was detected with a high viral load on March 14 at the Lucknow airport. However, it is believed that she was advised to stay in isolation but the advice was ignored by her. Besides this, BJP MP Dushyant Singh was also present at the Lucknow party. He was there with his mother and former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje. After the dinner party, Singh attended several public and private functions including breakfast at President’s house and dinner at friend’s residence.

Vasundhara Raje took to her Twitter after knowing about the singer being detected positive with coronavirus. The tweet read, “While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest. As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.”

Well, the news has surely created a stir and it has shocked many politicians of the country. TM MP Derek O’Brien after knowing about it announced self-isolation as he sat next to Dushyant Singh for 2 long hours during a parliamentary meeting on March 18.
