
Tapan Sheth Candidly Speaks About How He Chased His Passion Of Becoming A Wildlife Photographer
Never let your passion die. If you passionate about something then go for it. Proving this saying best is Gujarat’s, Tapan Sheth. He is a wildlife photographer, artist and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Sakshi Infoway Pvt. Ltd, a leading web design and development company based in Rajkot. Besides building his own software company, he always had an interest in photography. To live his passion, Tapan started working as a freelance photographer by capturing some beautiful pictures of nature and wildlife. He believes that it requires a lot of patience to get the best shot and when it is wildlife photography, it is not an easy task to get the perfect shot.
Hailing from a town named Surendranagar in Gujarat, the photographer completed his graduation in commerce from M.P Shah Commerce College. Despite starting his own web design and software company, Tapan always had his inclination towards photography. He purchased a Canon EOS 550D and started clicking pictures in the professional camera in his leisure time. Speaking about his love for photography, he said, “I am living what I always thought to do. At times, photographs convey a lot than what words cannot define. Photography is a beautiful art and I feel elated to be a wildlife photographer. Capturing pictures of nature and wildlife is truly a priceless feeling.”
Tapan Sheth who has been working as a freelance photographer has been appreciated for his work by many esteemed companies like BBC and Apple. His images were also featured by National Geographic and Natgeo which is a huge achievement for him. He is closely associated with the cause of wildlife conservation and he is working on a documentary on endangered species to make the world know about their existence. His artwork includes pictures of several animals like Asiatic Lions, Vultures, Peacocks and other species. He has won several recognitions and awards for his work. He was the winner of Nature’s Best Photography Asia 2016 and also the winner of Wildlife Reserves Singapore Group, Through The Lens 2017.
