Geralt and Ciri seems to be in danger in The Witcher Season 2 trailer
Netflix has released the first footage from The Witcher season 2 in a teaser video. Before the series ever premiered on Netflix, The Witcher was renewed for a second season in 2019. However, as it was released, it quickly became one of the streamer’s most popular shows, proving that their selection was smart.
The Witcher, like many other series, was forced to halt production in 2020 because to the COVID-19 epidemic. The Witcher season 2 concluded filming in early April, and Netflix co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos has already announced that the series will return in late 2021.
The first Witcher season 2 teaser trailer was released today, focusing on Ciri, the Lion Cub of Cintra. Despite the fact that much of the film shows Ciri or objects that appear to be important to her new quest, the voice over contains someone exclaiming “Danger!” and another yelling “No! Geralt!” Despite the fact that there is no video of Geralt or Yennefer in the video, their journeys are bound to cross with Ciri’s. The Witcher 2 teaser trailer may be seen below.
Season 2
The next season’s storey is unknown, though it is likely to feature monster-hunting witcher Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), Cintran Princess Ciri (Freya Allan), and strong sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra). Yennefer used a tremendous lot of magic to defeat Nilfgaard’s army, disappearing in the process, and Ciri finally discovering Geralt at the end of Season 1.
While the fate of Yennefer is unknown, Geralt and Ciri’s journey is likely to lead them to Kaer Morhen, where he was trained as a witcher. Geralt will gain new gear, Ciri will train with a sword, and Yennefer will be in bars, according to The Witcher season 2 first look photos. Netflix has released a new teaser for season 2 of The Witcher.
