The co-creator of How I Met Your Mother wants to cut parts of the show
Carter Bays, the co-creator of the successful comedy How I Met Your Mother, wants to mix things up. Since its debut in 2005, How I Met Your Mother has aired for nine seasons. The sitcom follows Ted Mosby, played by Josh Radnor, and his humorous adventures as he tells the story of how he met his two children’s mother.
During its run, How I Met Your Mother was nominated for over ninety awards and established a sizable fan base. The inevitable discovery of the children’s mother and the reason why he had tormented his children with the lengthy telling of the narrative earned mixed responses in the final season. The show ended about a decade ago, yet some of the stories and comedy haven’t aged well, as they have with many older television shows.

While viewers of the show will be able to tell how much Bays’ attitude has evolved over the decades since he is now working as an executive producer on the planned spinoff, How I Met Your Father, fans of the show will be able to identify how much Bays’ attitude has changed over the decades.
