The chaos-brewing Hurricane Tauktae, which recently struck Maharashtra, has led to massive destruction, in the midst of a disease that has plagued the nation, i.e Covid.

While tv and film shoots were being paused by the government to curb growing Covid-19 cases, various film and television programs were still on record mode, and the storm hit, affecting most of them.

Which Movie Sets Were Affected?

Producer Boney Kapoor had told about the loss he had to endure as a result of the damage to Maidaan’s sets, a film starring Ajay Devgn.

Similarly, the sets of Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi ’, are also, damaged, in Film City of Mumbai.

Affected TV Shows

B N Tiwari, President, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), says, “Some Balaji Telefilms TV programs have also been affected.

People may have gone somewhere else to shoot at the moment, but all the sets were still being built and standing in the Film City compound.

Going outside Mumbai was temporary and all teams were planning to come back and shoot here once the restrictions were lifted. Nuksaan toh kafi hua hai.”

Cyclone Tauktae Destroys Ranbir Kapoor’s Under-Construction Property

The road outside Ranbir Kapoor’s house which is under-construction currently in Mumbai was in shambles after Cyclone Tauktae passed through the city.

The storm/cyclone passed the capital of Maharashtra on Monday.

A video shared by the paparazzo on Instagram revealed that trees had been uprooted close to Ranbir’s property in the Bandra area of the city.

Tree branches also appear scattered around the area and inside the property. Ranbir and Alia were spotted visiting the area earlier this year.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Locality Under Clutches Of The Cyclone

Amitabh Bachchan, on Monday night, revealed that his office, called Janak, was flooded due to the rains.

Taking up the matter on his blog, the veteran actor said, “There is an eerie silence in the midst of the Cyclone .. the pounding and the lashing rains all day .. trees fell, leakages all over , flooding in the vulnerable Janak Office .. impromptu plastic cover sheets still in prep for the heavy Monsoon rain , ripped apart .. sheds and shelters for some staff blown away ..BUT the spirit of fight impregnable .. all hands on deck .. stepping out , repairing , preventing helping in extenuating circumstances drenched .. but on it.”
