See Sebastian Stan and Lily James Transform in Pam & Tommy’s First Pics
Hulu just released the first official images from the Pam & Tommy miniseries, and if we didn’t know any better, we’d mistake them for pictures of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. Knowing it’s Lily James and Sebastian Stan, we can’t wait to see this miniseries. Put it in front of our eyes as soon as possible! “A comedy limited series on the actual story behind the release of the first ever viral video in history—Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s sex tape,” according to the description.
Between 1995 and 1998, Lily and Sebastian played the iconic couple. Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese, and Mohzan Marn star in the film, which is produced by Rogen’s Point Grey.
Rogen also posted his own character photo on Twitter, and let’s just say he has a very different feel than the rest of the cast. He tweeted, “My co-stars, Sebastian and Lily, are a lot cooler than I am.” “Love Bites,” Sebastian captioned the images on Instagram, while Lily captioned hers with a quote from Pam, “It’s nice to be blonde.” It’s really easy to surprise people when they have low expectations.”
Sebastian also posted a second photo to Instagram, this time with a quote from Mötley Crüe drummer Mötley Crüe: “We don’t stop playing because we get tired, we stop playing because we get old.”
Other cast members have yet to share photos from the set, but the fact that it’s set in the mid-’90s can give you an idea of what to expect. It’ll be a blast, and we can’t wait. The sex tape incident began in 1995, when the tape was stolen from Pam and Tommy’s house and posted on the internet’s 1995 version. The couple filed suit against Internet Entertainment Group and reached a confidential settlement, in which the tape was re-released online, tripling IEG’s traffic.
