Kim Kardashian May Document Divorce From Kanye West In New Series
Kim Kardashian West will be reportedly documenting her $2.1 billion divorce from Kanye West on television. The reality star has had the past few months of her life filmed for the final season of her show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
She filed for divorce from Kanye after almost seven-years of marriage. Although their show is ending with another season, the family has signed new deals with Hulu and Star. They are said to have a new unscripted show that is set to debut this year. It is been reported that the program will also highlight the split.
A source had revealed that the Skims founder’s split will be documented on the last season of KUWTK. It is said to be the topic of discussion on their new show and it has also been said that Kanye is very unlikely to be featured in any parts of it.
According to previous reports, Kim was said to be sad but relieved after filing for divorce. An insider revealed that she feels confident in her decision.
The insider said, “Kim is definitely sad but she feels confident in her decision to divorce him because she knows it’s what’s best for herself and her family. She’s already felt like she’s been divorced for months now. It’s been a long time coming and she feels relieved to be able to finally move on.”

“She gave it plenty of time but it’s just time to move on.”
The KKW Beauty founder has her main concerns on the well-being of their four children. Kim and Kanye share North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm together. The insider shared that she is worried about her privacy and the kids. According to a source, North has some understanding of what is happening. The kids have mostly seen them apart so it is not that surprising.
The insider said, “Kim expressed to [the kids] that she loves their Dad but they need to be apart. They don’t fully understand what’s going on and are already used to the situation.” The reality star ultimately made the decision to proceed legally because she was tired of waiting.
Sources also claim that Kim tried to give it a chance and she wanted to do this last year. The source said, “She gave it plenty of time but it’s just time to move on. There were no affairs. No one did anything bad. They grew apart.” Both Kim and Kanye have been living separately for months as reports claim that the turning point in their relationship came in 2018.
Kanye had made a statement back then in a TMZ interview saying that slavery was a choice. The reality star was reportedly “mortified” by his statements and they both had to work very hard to go through the issues that came with his outbursts.
A full fledged breaking point was when Kanye aired personal details about their relationship during his presidential bid before lashing out on Twitter. He accused Kim of trying to lock him up with a doctor and also alleged that he cheated on her while mentioning divorce.
However, the reality star took steps towards making a decision by meeting her now divorce attorney Laura Wasser in July. The divorce came together quickly and they are working on dividing their shared assets. The former couple had signed prenups which will help them protect their combined $2.1 billion in assets.
The divorce has also outlined joint physical and legal custody of the kids.
