ENHYPEN Become Million Sellers With Dilemma, Fans Dub Them ‘Future Of K-Pop’

When ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ first garnered 600,000 pre-orders within six days of its launch; Enhypen was poised to break records.

Then, with less than a day to go before the album’s release, Engenes (the fandom) pushed it to 910,000 pre-orders; almost a million, shocking fans and non-fans alike. The boy band debuted in November 2020 and is still in the eleventh month of their career. The boy group has amazed everyone with two EPs and one studio album.

Enhypen’s debut studio album, titled Dimension: Dilemma, was released on October 12, 2021. It topped various charts upon its release; including the Gaon Weekly Chart, iTunes, Japan’s Oricon, and Billboard; as well as the UK’s Official Albums Chart and the US Billboard’s World Albums Chart. On the first day itself, the album crossed 500k sales on Hanteo making Enhypen the only fourth-gen group to do so.

It was then revealed that within a week, Dimension: Dilemma had crossed 800,000 sales; confirming that it was bound to reach a million sales soon. The K-pop album had previously been announced as a hit in Japan; with 156k copies sold and gold certification from the RIAJ. Enhypen has now been claimed to be a million-seller, as of November 11th.

With 1.1 million sales, Dimension: Dilemma debuted at #2 on the Gaon Monthly Chart. They’re currently ranked #3 on the Gaon Album Chart. Fans are impressed that Enhypen was able to compete against well-known groups such as Seventeen and NCT 127.

Fans Support ENHYPEN For One Million

It’s worth noting that Enhypen is the tenth artist to sell one million albums on Gaon. They are, however, the quickest and most youthful bunch to attain this milestone. They are also the only fourth-gen group on the list; following Stray Kids. Since their debut 11 months ago, Enhypen has sold a total of 2.4 million copies. Gaon’s Dimension: Dilemma is also on track to become a million-selling album in December.
