The Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer Reveals the California Story
Stranger Things season 4 will be set in 1986 and will have a California-based storyline, according to a new trailer.
When Stranger Things premiered in 2016, it soon became one of Netflix’s most popular shows. Season 3 focuses on Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike’s (Finn Wolfhard) romance, which has evolved as the primary group has grown up.
Despite their obvious bond, the friends were divided up when Eleven moved in with the Byers family after Hopper’s apparent death.
The Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer
While there will be lots of surprises in store for fans when Stranger Things season 4 premieres, promotional material for the show has already revealed some hints about the storyline. Hopper’s survival was hinted at the end of season 3, and David Harbour’s reappearance was confirmed in the first Stranger Things season 4 trailer. The fourth season takes place in the 1950s and features Robert Englund as the father of the Creel family, who murders his wife and two children. Stranger Things season 4 is expected to feature this, with a trailer published during Netflix’s TUDUM event showing Dustin, Lucas, Nancy, Steve, and Max breaking into the abandoned Creel house.
Netflix has published a new trailer that fans an even better peek at the forthcoming season. Brown reads a letter Eleven wrote to Mike for the duration of the trailer’s voice-over. Before the trailer turns to a quick montage of action events, the teenagers are enjoying life in California and looking forward to Spring Break.

Since this is the longest gap between seasons yet, fans have been anxiously awaiting more Stranger Things content. Stranger Things season 4 began filming in early 2020 but was suspended owing to the coronavirus epidemic, as was the case with so many other projects.
Stranger Things season 4 has the potential to be the best season ever, thanks to the extra time given to the writers to perfect the screenplay. Harbour has even indicated that this season of the show is his favourite so far.
