Thor 4: Chris Hemsworth & Natalie Portman Hold Hands On The Set
Natalie Portman has been the part of Thor From First Installment. She hasn’t been seen since Thor: The Dark World. But Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster, was back in action as she filmed Thor: Love and Thunder with Chris Hemsworth in Los Angeles on November 1.
The actress easily jumped into character for her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She’ll portray a female version of the God in Director Taika Waititi’s latest flick. Natalie wore a light green dress which cinched at her waist with a drawstring tie, paired with dark brown leather booties.
She sported a brunette wig which was parted down the middle. And reminiscent of a flashback scene of the couple from The Dark World. Chris was dressed casually in black jeans and dark leather boots. Wearing multiple layers on top including a T-shirt, un-zipped hoodie and a bomber jacket. While it’s completely unclear what scene was being filmed, they were spotted holding hands while walking through a city street.
Thor Franchise
The fourth installment in the franchise is based on Jason Aaron’s The Mighty Thor comics. Which introduced readers to the female Thor. The actress appeared in both Thor and Thor: The Dark World, but didn’t appear in the franchise’s third instalment, Thor: Ragnarok.
Natalie was last seen as Jane Foster in a cameo in Avengers: Endgame. Though this was reused archival footage that had been cut from Thor: The Dark World. The Jane Foster character was created by Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber and penciler Jack Kirby. And first appeared in the September 1962 Marvel Comics issue Journey Into Mystery.
The all-star cast includes Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Jaimie Alexander, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum and Chris Pratt. Russell Crowe, Melissa McCarthy, Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are also signed on to star. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released on July 8, 2022. After being pushed back multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
