Halloween 2021: The Weeknd goes undercover as this well-known character

This year’s Halloween celebrations appear to be greater than ever, despite the pandemic putting a damper on the festival the previous two years.

All of the top Hollywood stars got into the Halloween spirit and channeled some spectacular avatars to do so. Following Lizzo’s transformation into Baby Yoda aka Grogu, The Weeknd was another musician that stunned fans with his Halloween costume.

The weeknd as Don Vito Corleone

The 31-year-old Canadian musician went unnoticed while dressed as Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather. The Weeknd shared photographs and videos of his costume on Instagram, and he absolutely nailed the iconic character’s look. The Weeknd, as Abel Tesfaye, was seen replicating Marlon Brando’s iconic act in a video he shared on Instagram.

The Weeknd appears to make a point of mastering his Halloween costume every year, and following his famous turn as Eddie Murphy’s The Nutty Professor last year, this year’s beats them all. Fans were blown away by his Godfather outfit, with one fan commenting, “Bro never loses Halloween.”

Kendall Jenner, who dressed up as a martian girl from the 1990s Mars Attacks, was one of the more unique Halloween costumes this year. Also, during his latest performance, Harry Styles, who is now on tour across the United States, wowed fans by wearing Dorothy’s costume from the Wizard of Oz. “HARRYWEEN. New York City, NY,” Styles captioned images of himself dressed up as Dorothy.
