The Witcher, based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s namesake novels, premiered in late 2019 to largely positive critical acclaim and praise from audiences and quickly became a big viewing hit for Netflix. With the recently released anime prequel spin-off film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and the in-production prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin, the streaming platform has already begun branching out the property. In the meantime, Netflix is attempting to maintain high levels of anticipation for The Witcher season 2’s long-awaited premiere.
Netflix has released a new trailer for The Witcher season 2 with little over a month till its release. The trailer gives viewers a better idea of what to expect from the next chapter of the fantasy epic, which includes a far greater and more deadly fight for Cavill’s titular character.
