BTS Jungkook Showered In Praise After ARMYs Notice He Left His Dobermann Unmodified

Due to his conscious decision with his beloved Dobermann “Bahm,” BTS Jungkook has been receiving a lot of good attention recently.

Jungkook has chosen not to crop his dog’s ears, despite popular opinion. While this may appear to be a minor detail, this harmful dog grooming habit is very common among the breed of dog Bahm hails from, which is why many admirers applaud the K-pop star for his thoughtfulness.

The process of removing a portion of a dog’s ears is referred to as “chopping”. It was once thought to be a precautionary measure that prevented ear infections; and increased hearing in dogs used for hunting or sheepherding. Cropping, on the other hand, is no longer considered “essential” in current times.

Cropping is reported to be painful for dogs, and it is now done solely for aesthetic reasons. Many animal rights organisations have spoken out against the damaging practice, which can lead dogs to get stressed and potentially lose their hearing.

Fans were overjoyed to see that BTS Jungkook’s new puppy, “Jeon Bahm,” kept his floppy ears as he unveiled him on the K-pop group’s variety show “In The SOOP“. Bahm is a Dobermann; a dog breed that is frequently cropped by its owners.

ARMYs were able to watch several healthy and cute interactions between Bahm and all of the K-pop band members during BTS’ ‘In The SOOP’. Many people were particularly taken aback by Jungkook referring to himself as Bahm’s “father”; a minor detail that didn’t go ignored.

Many other members of BTS, including Jungkook, have their own pets. Yeontan, a Pomeranian, belongs to V, or Kim Taehyung. Holly, Suga’s toy Poodle, is owned by Min Yoongi. Rapmon (RM’s former moniker) is an American Eskimo who is RM’s (actual name Kim Namjoon) pet.

Jung Hoseok, also known as J-Hope, has a Shih Tzu named Mickey. Jin (or Kim Seokjin) has had multiple sugar gliders in the past, but Jimin (or Park Jimin); does not have any pets at the moment. In other excellent news for BTS fans; the K-pop group will perform on the L.A. leg of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour in 2021.
