Soulja Boy Trolled For Flirting With Saweetie

Soulja Boy chose to take aim at Saweetie, the beautiful female emcee, after dissing NBA YoungBoy with a pair of tweets on Friday, October 15.

The rapper, on the other hand, quickly became the brunt of jokes, with social media users having a field day mocking the ‘Crank That’ hitmaker. Saweetie has yet to respond to Soulja Boy, who is now single following her highly publicised separation with rapper Quavo.

Let us also recall how, when he ran into Saweetie at the BET Awards in June of this year, Jack Harlow attempted to pull off the same ruse. After introducing himself to Saweetie on the red carpet of the prestigious award ceremony, the ‘What’s Poppin’ hitmaker was all over the news.

In 2020, Harlow and Saweetie collaborated on a remix of the latter’s smash tune “Tap In” for the uninitiated. Post Malone and DaBaby were also included in the song. Following backlash from NBA YoungBoy followers, Soulja Boy appears to have shifted his focus to a different topic.

“What a (N-word) gotta do to have @Saweetie,” the 31-year-old hip-hop musician said on his official Twitter account, alongside emojis of a tired face and a red heart. Soon after, social media people discovered him and severely mocked him for flirting with Saweetie.

This isn’t the first time Soulja Boy has used Twitter to flirt with a famous person. He attempted to flirt with Kim Kardashian months after her divorce from Kanye West was finalised. Soulja Boy’s spat with Tyga was revived after the latter brought himself in after his former partner Camryn Swanson accused him of domestic assault.

“Tyga fell off,” Soulja had tweeted. Soulja Boy has a new single out called ‘Squid Games,’ in which he raps over the Netflix show’s opening theme. Soulja Boy’s courting abilities prompted a meme frenzy on social media over the weekend, with followers mocking him mercilessly for his attempt.

“Boy always shooting and missing”, claimed one user as another stated, “Bro i think you better off getting at Lizzo or something, she fuckin with me just don’t know it yet.” One user tweeted, “Yah, go buy hundreds of those Saweetie meals & give them to the peeps on the streets”, referring to Saweetie’s recently launched McDonald’s meal.

Meanwhile, one trolled Soulja by saying, “Dude just have to buy a Bentley” referring to Saweetie’s former lover Quavo gifting Bentley on her birthday last year. One suggested, “Start rapping like a grown a** man and not like you still in 2009. oh yeah & YB waaaayyyy better” as another pointed out, “Make better music. Be richer. Be smarter. Look better then you do. Not be Soulja boy.”
