TWICE Announces Third Album, Fans Ask If Jeongyeon Will Be In It
Both fans and TWICE were shocked when JYPE announced the band’s next projects swiftly. They had released their single, The Feels on October 1.
We saw a ‘Coming Soon’ poster at the end of the music video for The Feels. At the bottom, we could see that fans are getting a third album, Formula of Love and a tour. But fans are concerned if they will get Jeongyeon in the album.
Before the release of their English single, the idol was reported to have taken a break. She has previously gone on hiatuses and the agency revealed she had panic and psychological anxiety disorders. Luckily, the idol had recorded The Feels before and was a part of it. But she has been resting during the promotional activities.
Few of her fans were happy that she is getting the rest that she needs. However, the same cannot be said about them feeling annoyed because of the way JYPE is handling her absence. Just last week, fans were furious that the label decided to release OT8 season’s greetings merch. But this would be without Jeongyeon who is currently on a break. ONCEs were shocked as to why the label could not wait for her.
These greetings are anyway scheduled to be released at the end of the year. Now, JYPE has announced the K-Pop band’s third studio album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3. This will premiere on November 12 at 2 pm KST (12 am ET). It will be released on all streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MeIOn and more.
But the good news for fans is that the idol will be a part of the album. The teaser poster that was released saw Jeongyeon along with her members in a chemistry lab. However, fans are now hoping that she wasn’t rushed into filming many activities before she goes on a break. Usually, the posters we see are shot when the music video is being filmed or recorded.
This seemingly ensures that she has already recorded her part in the album and will be in the music video. However, since it is unknown when her hiatus ends, fans do not know if she will be in the promotional activities for the album. As per Kmedia, the first leg of their tour will be held in South Korea. TWICE will be having offline concerts for three days at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.
