Charli D’Amelio Discusses Her Public BreakUp With Chase Hudson
Charli D’Amelio had finally addressed her public breakup with Chase Hudson in a recent interview with Access Hollywood. Chase is known as Lil Huddy and they both were seeing each other from late 2019 to July 2020.
The former couple met through TikTok and Charli has addressed their breakup recently. She shared that relationships at her age are hard for everyone. The TikTok star added that she thinks everyone else is having a say in their relationship and that makes it hard.
Charli further added, “And I think, obviously it’s no secret that Chase and I had a public breakup, and I think that was something that we both really learned from, and I think it made us kinda grow together as people, which is why we’re so close now.”
The influencer was heard stating in a trailer for The D’Amelio Show that their public breakup was terrible. She also said that it was the right person but the wrong time. The former couple were first seen together dancing for a TikTok video in November 2019. They both also became members of the Hype House and made videos together.
The pair had made their relationship official on Valentine’s day 2020 via Instagram. However, the post has since been deleted. In early 2020, rumours of Chase cheating on Charli began circulating which led to a rocky road in their relationship. Josh Richards had called the influencer out for sending explicit messages to his girlfriend, Nessa Barrett.
Josh had also written a song where he dissed Chase for cheating on Charli. After the alleged cheating drama, Charli and Chase’s relationship status was not confirmed. Fans were clueless if they were together or not. After the scandal, the pair were spotted on iHeartRadio Music Awards carpet together on May 27, 2021.
Charli and Chase then did a music video together for his song, America’s Sweetheart. The singer had revealed that shooting with his ex had got emotional at one point.
