Spider-Man Actor Excited About Holland/ Maguire Teamup
JB Smoove recently revealed that he is excited for the possible Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire team-up in the highly anticipated, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor had appeared in the previous instalment Spider-Man: Far From Home as Mr Dell. He was a teacher at Peter Parker’s school, The Midtown School of Science and Technology. His character is also set to return this year in the upcoming movie later in December.
Typically as it happens with all MCU movies, there is a lot of speculation and rumours surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home. There has been limited information out there with regards to plot details on the movie. The filming of the Marvel venture had wrapped up in March and the marketing campaign has not yet started.
Other details like J. Jonah’s Jameson’s return, Doctor Strange making an appearance and the film exploring the multiverse were revealed before. However, the rumours of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man predecessors, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being a part of the movie have not been confirmed.
However, recently Dr. Dell actor, JB Smoove revealed in an interview with The Illuminerdi about Spider-Man: No Way Home. He hyped the film and described it as “fabulous” and joked how Marvel needs to give his character some powers. The actor was then asked which previous Spider-Man, was he excited to see.
He replied saying, “Tobey Maguire, of course”. Unfortunately, this cannot be taken as an official confirmation that Tobey’s Spider-Man is a part of the movie. The question by the interviewer was rather leading and his answer was essentially prompted. But it will definitely be exciting to see if rumours of the trailer releasing at CinemaCon for attendees, prove to be true. Or rather it’s best to wait for an official confirmation from Marvel.
MCU fans have been eagerly waiting for any information about the Spider-Man: No Way Home ahead of it’s release.
