Renowned Hairstylist Igor Khonin To Start His Hair Academy On A Global Level

Born on March 26, 1985, in Shuya, Ivanovo Oblast in Russia; he started working as a hairstylist in 2003. He did his education from Vidal Sassoon Academy, Los Angeles which is considered as one of the most prestigious hair academies in the globe. He learnt the art of hairstyling from LA after which he worked at many hair studios and salons of the world. He has worked with the international team in Toni & Guy salon in Moscow.

It was after his high school diploma, Igor found his interest in styling. He loved experimenting with looks and gave a thought of becoming a hairdresser. He has a beauty salon in Moscow and is an ambassador of Wella professional, a premium hair care brand. Offering the best hair styling services all over Russia, Igor has got some notable names as his clients including Kseniya Borodina, Anastasia Volochkova, Natalia Osmann, Tatu Band among other prominent personalities. Besides this, he was also the finalist at One Shot, the biggest hairdresser community in the USA.

Igor has also graced as a special guest at InterCharm, Russia’s leading beauty show which has more than 1100 participants from more than 30 countries and more than 20 professional events happening every year. While speaking about the best thing he feels of being a hairstylist, Igor said, “There is a lot of creativity in being a hairdresser. I create my own style and before trying it on my clients, I first try it on myself. But the best thing about my clients is they trust me and they always say that do whatever you want.
