Benjamin Keough’s Girlfriend Pays Touching Tribute To Her Late Boyfriend

Benjamin Keough’s girlfriend, Diana Pinto, has broken her silence over his tragic death by suicide at the age of 27 on July 19. A devastated Diana penned a heart-wrenching tribute to her late lover, alongside a series of pictures showing the lovely couple.

The Unfortunate Incident

Elvis Presley’s grandson, Benjamin Keough, shot himself at a party, that was reportedly, his girlfriend and brother-in-law’s joint birthday celebrations. Neighbors heard Keough partying at his mother Lisa Marie Presley’s Calabasas home in California, late on Saturday, July 12 . According to reports, the neighbors heard a woman, believed to be Pinto, screaming ‘don’t do it’ in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police arrived around 6am, after responding to a rescue call. They discovered Keough had locked himself in the bathroom and shot himself in the head with a shotgun. He was rushed to the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. However, the doctors couldn’t revive him and he was pronounced dead at 3.30pm.

“You made me the luckiest girl in the world”

Diana Pinto took to Instagram, with the deeply personal and emotional note in order to honor her late beau. “To the most beautiful boy I have ever seen. You make everyone around you light up the second you step into the room. You touch every single soul around you.” Diana continued, “You love your Sunday morning toons and chocolate milk. I promise to always honor you on Fancy Fridays. Your laugh is heard all over the world now. You made me the luckiest girl in the world, to have you, to hold you, to love you and to be loved by you are the only things that have ever mattered. You are my whole world and my whole life, you live with me now every day. In my heart, in my soul and in my mind.”

“I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this life without you”

Diana concluded her message expressing more love for Benjamin as well as sharing her deep grief about the unfortunate incident. “My travel partner. My best friend. I will cherish all the memories we’ve made together and keep them close to my heart,” she added. “I feel your silliness within me still making me laugh. Every second of every day I think of you, now I know the true meaning of grief. Please give me strength to keep going because I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this life without you.”

Diana signed off on the post confessing, “You will always be the love of my life, my everything. Big pies little pies, te amo mas que el sol y la luna mi amorsito. Love forever, Honu.”

Keough and Pinto reportedly started dating around September 2017, when Pinto posted their first photo on Instagram of them together with friends. The series of pictures that Diana posted in her tribute now included several adorable selfies of her and Keough. She also posted a video which shows Keough urging her to join him in the water at the beach. As well as a photo of the message “I Love You Diana” written on what looks like a steamed-up shower door and a solo shot of Keough strumming his guitar on a balcony.

“I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again”

Pinto’s tribute comes a day after Benjamin’s sister, Riley Keough, shared her own message on Instagram. Riley also included touching photos with her younger brother in the post. She called him “pure light,” “wild man,” “best friend,” and a “protector” who was “too sensitive for this harsh world.” The actress ended her emotional message with some devastating words that read, “I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.”

Benjamin’s mother, Lisa Marie Presley, was seen holding hands with Diana on July 16 and has not yet publicly spoken about her son’s death. Benjamin’s father, Danny Keough, was also spotted being consoled and talking to Diana outside the Beverly Hills Hotel on the same day.
