
Mrs Sukanya Sengupta Chakravorty from Nashik wins the Mrs Iconic Eyes subtitle crown at Mrs Maharashtra Empess of Maharashtra 2019
Sukanya secured a place among the top 10 finalists at a state-level pageant, Mrs Maharashtra Contest held in Pune, conceptualised by DIVA Pageants, powered by Hyatt Pune, telecast partner, News18 and beverage partner, SULA Vineyards. Mrs Sukanya has been crowned as Mrs Iconic Eyes 2019. The auditions for the finale were held all over Maharashtra, among which only 50 contestants were shortlisted. This glittery pageant had the audience enthralled with its galaxy of Bollywood stars and famous personalities as judges including Gulshan Grover, Femina Miss India; Zoya Afroz, celebrity anchor and singer Dilruba Pandey among others.
Sukanya is a digital marketing manager by profession and a singer by passion. She mesmerised the judges with her voice at the talent round as well as in the introduction round, which was value addition that helped her to reach the top 10 and enter the Q/A round. Mrs Iconic Eyes believes that “one should always have a positive attitude towards life, as it’s always your attitude, not your aptitude, that decides your altitude.”
Her inspiring words surely proves one thing that she is a determined and motivated woman in life. She further added, “All the credit goes to the dynamic duo Mr Karl Mascarenhas, the founding director of DIVA pageant and Mrs Anjana Mascarenhas, India’s premiere as well as international pageant coach, for giving married women a platform to showcase their skills and capabilities. And also my family for supporting me throughout.”
