The rumours circulating Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer dating have been making the rounds on social media. The internet, however, is having a meltdown at this point.
The duo shot to fame in NBC’s hit sitcom, Friends and it has been over 25 years since the show has ended. Both Jen and David gained immense recognition for their roles as Rachel and Ross respectively. Their on-screen chemistry is loved by fans to this day as they are considered to be one of the most iconic couples on screen.
After the recent Friends: The Reunion, both Jennifer and David revealed that they had a crush on each other during the show. But now, a source has come forward to reveal that the actors have once again grown close after the episode. According to the source, David Schwimmer had even visited Jen in her LA home after filming.
The source said,
“After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in L.A.”
As per the source, the duo is spending quality time together as well. The source added that Jen has been cooking dinners and they have enjoyed spending quality time chatting and laughing. Further, the source revealed that they were spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation as they walked around one of Jennifer’s favourite vineyards. Now, the source says there was a lot of chemistry between them.
Jennifer & David Admit To Having A Crush On Each Other
David had recently posted a photo of himself wearing a Friends ‘Lobsters’ T-shirt featuring Ross and Rachel. He had tagged Jennifer in the post and she responded by posting more photos of the Friends merchandise. She captioned the image, “we were SO not on a break,” with reference to her character’s iconic line.
Fans lost their minds after Jennifer and David revealed they had a crush on each other decades ago. The duo shared that they channelled their love and affection for each other into their characters. The couple won millions of hearts across the globe after playing each other’s love interests.
During the Friends Reunion episode, David Schwimmer told host James Corden he had a “major crush” on Aniston during the first season of the show:
“I mean, in the first season, I had a major crush on Jen. At some point, we were crushing hard on each other. But it was like two ships passing, because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”
In response, Jennifer said she remembers telling David that it is going to be a bummer if the first time they kiss was on television. She added but the first time they kissed was actually in the coffee shop as Ross and Rachel. The actress said, “So we just channelled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.”
The rumours of them dating have left social media in haywire as many fans and admirers took to Twitter. Fans have been expressing their excitement and adoration for the pair and reactions are still coming in fast. However, we do not know if the rumours are true and if David and Jennifer actually address them.
