Whenever Ranveer Singh prepares for any role, he gives his best shot leaving everyone stunned. His latest picture from Kabir Khan’s upcoming directorial 83 is breaking the internet. The actor shared a picture of himself as the former cricket legend hitting his signature Natraj shot in style. Ever since the picture was posted by him on the internet, it went viral and within no time, ‘Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev’ became a top trend on social media. The picture has surely leave everyone impressed. Be it the body language, the facial expression, the wavy hair look and that moustache; it looks like Ranveer has not played Kapil Dev’s character but he has lived it to the fullest. The photo got a thumbs up from one and all and even the cricketing legend could not stop but praise the Padmaavat actor. He retweeted the image and wrote. “Hats off Ranveer!”.

The sports drama film is based on India’s heroic win at the Cricket World Cup in 1983 dethroning the reigning champions West Indies to lift the title. The actor posted pictures and videos while prepping up for the film on several occasions.

Deepika Padukone will be seen playing Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Bhatia in the film. Besides this, the film also stars Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Hardy Sandhu, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Chirag Patil, Jatin Sarna and others. The film’s shooting began in London in May this year and the crew recently wrapped up the film in October. Co-produced by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, 83 is all set to release on April 10, 2020.
