ZEE5 to premiere Zindagi Original Dhoop Ki Deewar on 25 June

The latest Zindagi Original, Dhoop Ki Deewar, will be published on June 25th, according to streaming portal ZEE5. Dhoop Ki Deewar is a cross-border love, family, and loss drama starring Pakistani actor couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir.

The show follows Vishal (Mir) from India and Sara (Aly) from Pakistan as they discover their lives are linked when their fathers are killed in battle. Their connection is built on the foundation of their shared pain.

Mir has acted in serials such as Sammi and Ehd-e-Wafa, while Aly is most recognised for her roles in the Sridevi-led feature film Mom and the telefilm Behadd. Haseeb Hasan directs Dhoop Ki Deewar, which was written by Umera Ahmed, who is well known for writing the blockbuster drama Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which starred Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. The programme, according to Hasan, reflects positivism “across borders, religion, and societal biases.”

Samiya Mumtaz, Zaib Rehman, Savera Nadeem, Samina Ahmed, Manzar Sehbai, Raza Talish, Aly Khan, and Adnan Jaffar appear in the series, which is produced by Motion Content Group and Hamdan Films. The series, according to Ateeq Rehman, Chief Investment Officer, Group M Pakistan, is an attempt by the creators to push the edge.

After Asim Abbasi’s successful thriller drama Churails and comic drama Ek Jhoothi Love Story, which was also written by Ahmed, this is the third Zindagi original.
