Zaira Wasim returns to Twitter & Instagram, says she’s allowed to take a break

Former Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim had deactivated her Twitter and Instagram account on Friday after receiving backlash from a few people!

It was on Friday when the former actress Zaira Wasim made headlines again. This time it was due to the reports of her quitting social media. Apparently, the young girl had only deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts.

After a day of social media detox, she’s now back as she answered a Twitter user as well. Responding to the question as to why she deactivated her account, she wrote, “Because I’m just a human, like everyone else, who’s allowed to take a break from everything whenever the noise inside my head or around me reaches it’s peak.”

Zaira had taken a break from social media after she had received some backlash on sharing a verse from Quran. She had posted, “So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood: Signs openly self explained: but they were steeped in arrogance- a people given to sin” -Qur’an 7:133.”

For those who don’t know, Zaira Wasim has acted in films like Dangal and Secret Superstar. However, it was last year when she had taken a retirement from the Bollywood film industry.
