‘Yours,’ by BTS, has achieved 30 million streams

It’s no surprise that BTS’ music continues to be popular. The singers’ excellent vocals are accompanied by fantastic music that surpasses all expectations. Similarly, each of the seven lads has released solo albums that have wowed crowds, topped charts, and broken a range of records.

BTS’ oldest member Jin sang the OST for tvN’s 15th-anniversary special drama ‘Jirisan,’ which stars Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon in the major roles. ‘Yours’ was premiered on November 7 at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 p.m. IST) during the drama’s fifth and sixth episodes. It went on to gain a lot of attention on the charts, with 1.4 million streams on Spotify alone.

Jin’s OST has surpassed 30 million streams in less than two months, making it the fastest OST to reach this milestone. Surprisingly, this is Jin’s first solo OST.

‘Yours’ Sets A New Record In The Top 50

Jin’s song “Yours” became the first BTS solo single to spend 53 days in the Top50 on Spotify (still counting). It is the first solo song by a member of BTS to reach this milestone. Jin has also established a record by having three of his solo tracks chart for more than 51 days on Spotify Korea. For 89 days, ‘Moon’ was played, for 51 days, ‘Epiphany’ was played, and for 53 days, ‘Yours’ was played (and counting).

Jin has been breaking records with his Super Tuna challenge, not just with ‘Yours.’ Jin of BTS has gained another title to his curriculum vitae: ‘Worldwide record maker’! Jin’s ‘Super Tuna’ has been trending at number one on Youtube for 16 days in a row in the Music category, making him the first K Pop solo artist to achieve this feat, surpassing PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’.

Jungkook replies to Street Woman Fighter’s Jo Na In

In other news, Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, has been enjoying his well-deserved official break by relaxing and watching popular shows. The dance squad survival show ‘Street Woman Fighter,’ to which the BTS member has expressed the most love, is one of them. He just shared Instagram stories of his thoughts to the last episode, as well as his support for his favorite teams.

On January 7, Jungkook responded to a post about TURNS dancer Jo Na In, asking, “What should their group’s YouTube channel name be?” He proposed the term ‘Have a good nain,’ which is a play on her name and akin to ‘have a good night.’ On her own Instagram account, Jo Na In shared the response.
