YG Entertainment Reacts To The News Of BTS Jimin & BigBang Taeyang Collab

Korean media is already calling this the “greatest” collab in the K-Pop industry. For those who do not know about this yet, it was reported in Korean media earlier today Jimin, the soulful vocalist of BTS, will have a collaboration with Taeyang of BigBang.

Taeyang is a part of YG’s BigBang which is one of the best-selling boy bands in the world, while Jimin belongs to the biggest Boy Group in the world at the moment. In addition to being part of BigBang, Taeyang has also had a very successful career as a solo artist, best known for his global hit, “Eyes, Nose, Lips”.

And even though Jimin has not made his solo debut yet, he has also been part of many solo music projects. He most recently released an OST titled, “With You” under his name. He has also released successful songs like “Filter” and “Serendipity” under BTS’ name.

Jimin To Feature On Taeyang’s Comeback Album

‘According to many music industry officials on the 9th, Jimin of BTS will join as a featuring artist for Big Bang Taeyang’s solo album, which is scheduled to be released in January next year.’ K-media has reported.

And now Korean media is reporting that YG Entertainment, which manages BigBang and Taeyang, has reacted to the news.

YG Entertainment responded to the reports by stating, “We’re currently checking [whether it’s true].”

All BTS members are currently pursuing solo projects. It was announced earlier this year that all of them will be making their official solo debuts one by one. So far the members who have made their solo debuts include j-hope, Jin, and RM aka Namjoon. The remaining members will be releasing their respective solo albums early next year.
