WWE Has Announced A Winner Take All Title Unification Match

The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions will be crowned on FOX’s SmackDown Live next week. RAW Tag Team Winners RK-Bro vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions has been announced by WWE. The Usos will face each other in a Winners Take All Title Unification Match next Friday night.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Riddle, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre in a six-man non-title match at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday. RK-Bro then appeared on tonight’s SmackDown and insisted a response to their challenge.

Earlier in the episode, Sami Zayn attempted to speak on behest of The Bloodline. As a result, Riddle defeated Zayn in singles play. The Bloodline later appeared in the ring for the episode’s closure segment, but before Reigns could finish talking regarding the challenge, the music cut out and Orton and Riddle appeared. After some back-and-forth on the mic, The Usos took up the challenge but stated that the match would be held next Friday rather than tonight.

The Usos then boasted after next week’s SmackDown, each member of The Bloodline will have two title belts. When Reigns raised both of his title belts in the air, Riddle hit him with a knee strike to the face whereas the belts were still held high. RK-Bro quickly exited the ring and watched from the ramp as The Bloodline writhed in the ring to bring SmackDown to a close.

As this week’s SmackDown ended, WWE announced the Winners Take All Title Unification Match for next week’s show. It’ll be intriguing to see if WWE does indeed unify the tag team titles by next week. It was reported earlier that there was no intention of unifying the titles when the initial RK-Bro vs. Usos match for WrestleMania Backlash was declared, and that the six-man fight was always the plan.
