Marvel and DC are two big superhero franchises and have remained prominent since their comic era. When the two franchises were adapted on the big screen it introduced the world to a bigger story of the fictional superheroes story. DC has created its world with superheroes like Batman and Superman, and Marvel has given us characters like Spiderman and Captain America.
Though both franchises have their own world of superheroes and different stories to narrate, fans always wonder what would it be like if superheroes from two different worlds come together for a movie. DC and Marvel exist independently, but fans have been longing for a collab between the two.
Obviously, stars involved in both franchises have faced the question if they will come together with their rival franchise for a crossover. So did, Gal Gadot!
Disney’s D23 has finally been unveiled and during the event, Gal was asked about a possible crossover of MCU and DCEU.
Gal Gadot is a part of the DCEU playing the fans’ favorite female superhero, Wonder Woman. The actor said responding to the question, that maybe they can do a crossover movie of Wonder Woman in an Avengers movie and the Avengers can appear in the Wonder Woman movie. She is open, she is all about love and she likes all her friends from DC and Marvel. You can see her response here.
DC Universe is set to up its game in the superhero genre with its upcoming release Black Adam and Shazam. DC is setting a bigger stage for itself and the release of the upcoming films will mark a turning point for the DC franchise. Recently, it’s one of the highly budgeted movies Batgirl was shelved and fans were very disappointed with this decision.
Johnson will be seen playing Black Adam in the upcoming live-action DC film of the same name. His first appearance as the DC antihero has taken a while because he has been associated with the role for a long time. Alongside him will be a strong supporting cast that includes Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Doctor Fate, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher.
Jaume Collett-Serra, who also directed Jungle Cruise, will be directing Black Adam, which also stars Aldis Hodge who will also be seen as The Invisible Man, Underground as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell Trinkets, Euphoria as Cyclone, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan.
Black Adam will premiere in theatres on October 21 this year. after the release of Black Adam, December 21, will follow the release of Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
