Will Smith Will Make His Appearance in the David Letterman’s Talk Show after Oscars Feud with Chris Rock

Actor Will Smith is among those stars who is all set to star and feature on David Letterman’s Netflix show, ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman’. On Thursday Netflix made an announcement on Thursday that the David Letterman’s Emmy- nominated talk show series named, “My next guest doesn’t need a David Letterman referral” will again return on May 20.

 As per the reports Will Smith is among the next batch of stars who will make his appearance on the show, David Letterman’s Netflix talk show, ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman’.

While fans would be curious to see Smith’s first on screen presence after the infamous Oscars 2022 altercation with Chris Rock, but as per the reports the interview might not include the slap gate scandal as the situation was taped before the awards ceremony.

The actor had stormed the Oscars stage to hit Rock as because the comedian had made a joke upon his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s baldness (because of her alopecia condition). The actor’s appearance on the show is due on May 20. Along with that the other stars included in the batch are Cardi B, Kevin Durant, Billie Eilish, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Ryan Reynolds who are all lined up as they will make their appearances on the six-part of the series. All the episodes of the show were filmed before March 2022.

The talk show is all about the one-on-one conversations with legendary talk show hosts and celebrity guests both inside and outside the studio setting. 

Whereas Smith’s wife Jada has resumed the shooting for her fifth season of her talk show Red Table Talk. Where she had mentioned about how her family is focusing on “deep healing.”

The actor is banned from Oscars for 10 years after the feud

Whereas after the slap gate scandal the “King Richard”, actor is banned as the academy decided after investigating his actions. The authorities had mentioned in their official statement that, “The Board has decided, for a period of 10 years from April 8, 2022, Mr. Smith shall not be permitted to attend any Academy events or programs, in person or virtually, including but not limited to the Academy Awards.”
