Why Pete Davidson Opted Out of Going To Space? SNL Star Drops Out Of Blue Origin Space Mission

Pete Davidson will not be going to space, as the SNL star has withdrawn from Jeff Bezos’ forthcoming Blue Origin space launch project. Davidson was set to board Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket on March 23 for his maiden voyage to space, which was established by Jeff Bezos.

But a tweet released last Thursday on Blue Origin’s Space Official page indicates that the trip has been rescheduled for March 29. Pete will no longer be on board was also what the tweet said.

The corporation will also “announce the sixth crew member in the coming days,” according to the tweet. This announcement of Davidson’s departure came only three days after the private aerospace business disclosed Davidson’s involvement in the project.

It appears that Davidson’s extraordinarily hectic work schedule is preventing him from boarding the trip. While he continues to work for SNL, he is now on the East Coast filming James DeMonaco’s horror picture The Home.

Blue Origin’s impending mission to space with New Shepard will be the company’s fourth human flight and its 20th overall. While Davidson has left the project, the rest of the crew is still on board.

Davidson’s relationship with Blue Origin was originally speculated about in January, when he was sighted visiting Bezos’ Los Angeles home with fiancée Kim Kardashian.
