When BTS Taehyung Set Live Session Record On Weverse With More Than 500 Million Views

Taehyung is one of the representative faces of K-Pop in the world, with millions of fans around the globe. He has numerous records to his name that prove his status as a global K-Pop superstar.

V, a member of BTS, currently holds the record for Weverse’s most-watched live video. V LIVE, a well-liked video streaming service among K-pop stars and fans, was formally discontinued at the beginning of 2023. Although V LIVE had the largest live-streamed K-pop content archive ever, not all of it was permanently lost.

It was revealed that HYBE’s Weverse fan community platform will join forces with NAVER’s V LIVE as part of a strategic partnership. Weverse artists’ V LIVE content was automatically transferred to their Weverse channels.

The entire BTS V LIVE content was transferred to Weverse, where Taehyung now holds the record for the most watched live on the network with 504 million views.

The identical live video set a “triple record” before VLIVE was discontinued by having the following: Most watched VLIVE in history, First VLIVE to surpass 500 Million views, & Fastest VLIVE to reach 500 Million views.

Taehyung frequently breaks records and becomes popular without trying, as evidenced by the recent Weverse live stream that helped an independent game go viral.

After Taehyung live-streamed himself playing “Goose Goose Duck” on Weverse in November, the game’s concurrent players reached a peak of 800,000 in just two months, according to a recent announcement from the game developer.

There is no denying Taehyung’s considerable influence. His clothing is “Sold Out” in an instant, and he has used his influence to support numerous small businesses.

Taehyung’s New Variety Show

BTS member V, Choi Woo-shik, Park Seo-joon, Jung Yu-mi have come together for the new variety show titled Seo Jin. The show is a spin-off series of the popular reality show, Youn Kitchen. The TV series shows Lee Seo Jin run a new restaurant which highlights the street food of Korea. The menu is said to be lighter and more approachable in the spin-off series.
