Webtoons & Web Novels Starring BTS, TXT, ENHYPEN? HYBE Shares Details

HYBE announced their plans to launch a business based on their own Original Stories, which will be a new type of intellectual property (IP) owned by the company, earlier in November. HYBE’s Original Stories will feature a variety of content, including webtoons and web novels, based on HYBE’s unique narrative IPs.

“7FATES: CHAKHO” with BTS, “THE STAR SEEKERS” with TXT, and “DARK MOON” with ENHYPEN will be the first three Original Stories to be released. Characters from the Original Stories will be depicted and brought to life by the painters. On January 15-17, the three Original Stories will be available on Naver Webtoon’s global service.

The first instalment, “7FATES: CHAKO,” will be released on January 15, and it is an urban fantasy set in a near-future city. The storey is based on the Joseon Dynasty’s chakhogapsa tiger-hunting officers, and it is HYBE’s version of bear and tiger folklore as well as traditional Korean tiger mythology. “7FATES: CHAKO” will follow seven lads who are fated to be connected as they face challenges together and grow up. The seven members form a tiger hunting team called Chakho, and they face the chaotic world together, their fates deeply intertwined with the tiger.

The story’s official social media channels have been releasing individual character concept photographs and teaser videos to explain the BTS members’ characters since January 8. Suga plays Cein; who has a tragic past of almost being eaten by a tiger, V plays Jooan; who falls in love with a tiger, J-Hope plays Hosu; who has been kidnapped by a tiger, Jin plays Hwan; an ordinary archer who loses his family to a tiger, RM plays Do Geon; a crime expert who has lived a difficult life, Jimin plays Haru, a rock

On January 16, HYBE and ENHYPEN will release “DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR,” a collaboration storey. It tells the narrative of what happens when a special girl comes in front of seven vampires whose memories have been hidden away. From an old magical country to a modern-day private school, the fantasy storey is set in a variety of settings. With a teaser shot of ENHYPEN in high school uniform and photos presenting the academy on the story’s official Instagram, “DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR” piqued interest in its school fantasy premise.

Finally, on January 17, TXT’s joint narrative “THE STAR SEEKERS” will be launched. Five wonderful K-pop idol boys live in a world where magic and reality mingle in this fantasy novel. They fight against the secret regarding the world’s demise after discovering they have magical abilities. The animation “The Doom’s Night” and the pop-up book “The Tale of the Magic Island” have already exposed a section of the plot for “THE STAR SEEKERS,” and the whole storey will be told through the next webtoon and web novel.
