Was Jungkook Hinting At World Tour During AMAs 2021 Speech?

At the 2021 American Music Awards, also known as the AMAs, both BTS and ARMY had a good time. Fans got to see the global K-pop trio perform ‘Butter’ and ‘My Universe’ with Coldplay for the first time. BTS also made history by becoming the first Asian act to win the AMAs’ main title, ‘Artist of the Year.’
They also took home awards in all three categories in which they were nominated. Other memorable moments included the reunion of J-hope and Becky G; as well as Jin removing Jungkook from the stage during his speech. Fans were worried that Jungkook was poised to sabotage a major event like a world tour.
While ARMY enjoyed Jungkook’s English speech, the finale caught everyone off guard. He finished his remarks by saying that BTS ‘wanted to focus on’ before being interrupted by Jin. As they laughed at the back of the stage, the senior member hugged Jungkook and dragged him away from the microphone.
Fans began to use terms like ‘concentrate on what’ to speculate on what Jungkook would have said if Jin hadn’t intervened. They hoped to get some answers as the boys went live on VLive to enjoy the night.
Fans in attendance at the AMAs noted that the teleprompter prompted BTS to finish their address while Jungkook was speaking. As a result, ARMY believes that one of the reasons Jin halted Jungkook was to allow the other members to talk.
ARMY, on the other hand, believes Jungkook was ready to spoil something; which is why Jin tackled him instead of just signalling him to hand over the mic to another member. ARMY’s imagination ran wild with the following VLive, labelled ‘concentrate on…’. “FOCUS ON WHAT!?” one fan tweeted about the AMAs moment.
“LET HIM SPEAK HIS TRUTH, AND LET HIM BE THE TOM HOLLAND OF BTS.”
