Toby Keith The Red Solo Cup Singer Diagnosed With Cancer, Informs Fans

The “Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue” Singer Toby Keith informed his fans about being diagnosed with stomach cancer on Sunday 12th June 2022.

He shared a tweet and a post on Instagram sharing the news with his fans. It’s been reported that the 60-year-old artist was performing his shows even when he was battling cancer.

The post was shared to inform about his ongoing condition in his post he wrote,” Last fall I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. I’ve spent the last 6 months receiving chemo, radiation, and surgery. So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover and relax. I am looking forward to spending this time with my family. But I will see the fans sooner than later. I can’t wait.-T”

People were shocked and sad after hearing this news. His comment section was flooded with positive messages and love like, ” much love your way”, “prayers for you”, and “stay strong.”

He had a show scheduled on July 28th at Ohio State Fair but now it’s canceled after his announcement on Twitter and Instagram.

The Ohio State Fair tweeted, ” Our hearts go out to Toby Keith as he courageously battles cancer. Tickets purchased from Ticketmaster for his #ohiostatefair show on July 28, which has been canceled, will be automatically refunded. Any information about an alternate concert on July 28 is forthcoming.”

In the year 2004, the country music rockstar founded Ally house which helps Oklahoma children who are diagnosed with cancer. Later he kept the foundation name after one of his band member’s daughters as she died because of cancer, it was named Allison Webb.

He later on also started his own Toby Keith foundation with a mission ” to encourage the health & happiness of pediatric cancer patients.”
