Thor: Love & Thunder will revolve around the story of Thor whose superhero days are now over & he will be retiring in the movie. But the villain God Butcher (Gorr) is on a motive to extinct all Gods. That’s why Thor’s retirement gets interrupted and to help Thor fight Gorr Jane Foster & Valkyrie joins him. We get to see in the trailer a new version of Jane as the mighty Thor who is worthy of holding the Mjolnir.

The runtime is expected to be 1 hour and 59 minutes which is lesser than the Marvel movies of this year. As Dr. Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness had a run time of 2 hours 6 mins, it’s not the first shorter MCU movie as Antman & the Wasp too had a runtime of 1 hour 58 minutes.

In one of the interviews with entertainment weekly Taika Waititi the director of Thor love & thunder talked about the film he said,” “It’s not a serious film, and it’s not a drama, but we do deal with ideas that I think a lot of humans deal with — universal themes about love and loss and our place in the world. Everyone sort of asks this question in the film: What is your purpose? What is the reason that you’re a hero, and what do you do when you have these powers? It’s sort of like a midlife crisis film, really.”
