Nike SB and Jordan Brand have collaborated once more to create a sneaker that blends the design of the Air Jordan 4 with the functionality of a skating shoe.
The colorway contains classic OG-style color blocking, but the design team made minor adjustments to make the shoe more skateable.
The general form, which has been altered from the original 1989 design to better fit skateboarders, is one of the most noticeable alterations.
The Wings have also been changed to a rubber material that works better with grip tape, and the tongue has been somewhat bulked up for extra comfort and support.
The forefoot midsoles, which now incorporate a Poron lining but no Air, are a significant element for skateboarders.
This modification improves impact protection and comfort while skating.
The design and characteristics of the shoe have been meticulously examined in order to create a fashionable and useful sneaker for skateboarders and Air Jordan 4 lovers.
