Sting is prepared to compete in a trios tag team match during AEW Dynamite

Sting is prepared for his next in-ring match of 2023 after kicking off the year with a bang by teaming with Darby Allin and the legendary Great Muta in Japan.

Also, similar to his contest at Pro Wrestling NOAH's Great Muta At "Final Bye-Bye," the fan-favourite veteran will face off against his protégé and tag team partner Allin in trios match.

Their team's third member, Orange Cassidy, the AEW International Champion, is a bit of a surprise.

The Butcher, The Blade, and Kip Sabian would compete against Allin, Cassidy, and a partner of their choice following the events at House Rules, All Elite Wrestling's home show this past weekend, according to Tony Khan.

The announcement followed the group's attack on the two fan favourites.

Khan also indicated that "The Icon" would be the final component of this jigsaw in the same tweet.

In this Wednesday's episode of "Dynamite," these teams will now square off.

Sadly, the Stinger's cherished times might soon be over. The WWE Hall of Famer's contract is expected to end sometime in 2023, according to a story from earlier this year.
